Since 1978, ITOP with commitment and passion makes bespoke customized orthoses and prostheses, guiding over 25000 patients a year on their journey toward functional recovery and autonomy. The workforce consists of 260 employees, including 5 engineers and 62 CPOs and the 3 production sites apply optimized interconnected manufacturing systems in all processes. We collaborate with Research and Motor Rehabilitation Centers and Universities.
Our R&D Department can boast 6 patents and 24 scientific papers. The passion about innovative evidence-based orthotic and prosthetic solutions prompted us in 2016 to be equipped with a motion analysis laboratory to objectively verify our devices’ capability to improve quality of life. Since 1996 ITOP is the venue for the training of the CPO degree bachelor of “Tor Vergata” Rome University. The Course has graduated more than 300 CPOs.

The project was born to give proper answers to the increasing requests we often receive from practitioners who wish to offer custom orthotic devices to their patients but do not yet got specific experience or necessary equipment to fabricate them effectively and sistematically. Our team will assist you in accurately taking measurements and digitally capture morphology as well as providing operational guidelines to make plaster cast of the body segment you want to brace. (Our experts will be by your side and guide your first steps remotely in patient testing and device refinement).

We share our methodology, suggest the essential equipment, support device design and make available the manufacturing procedures required for effective process management. Once the request is complete, we handle the third-party fabrication of the device with an estimated turnaround time starting from 5 working days, according to the complexity of the brace.
